Advice on What to Wear

For your Headshot session we recommend:

• You wear darker colours, as they will ‘streamline’ you better.

• If possible, avoid large areas of white because they tend to blow out and lose detail in certain lighting situations (a dark suit with a white collar is fine).

• Avoid shirts with busy designs or loud patterns because you want people to notice you, not your clothes. Uniforms are OK.

• Keep jewellery very simple because often a great shot can be spoiled by the wrong choice of say earrings. If you are unsure about your jewellery choice – it may be best to leave it out.
